چکیده
Padma Multipurpose Bridge (PMB) is one of the most important projects in history Bangladesh due to its regional importance, economic benefit, and primary connectivity one-third population country. The bridge 6.15km long, connecting ends Mawa Janjira Bangladesh. entire project challenging construct complex design as it contains both four-lane highways train tracks supported by a double-deck composite warren truss. In this study, dynamic response truss moving has been analyzed using Moving Element Method (MEM). process, separate finite element model developed Finite (FE) program convert double deck into an equivalent beam. Analysis conducted for series different load cases, converging realistic case where actual parameters are considered. Parametric studies have carried out determine responses with varying pier spacing speed train. optimal solution discussed effect vibration acting on multi-purpose bridge. bridge's amplification factor (DAF) at below 100km/hr found 1.05. parametric study shows that critical PMB 1400km/hr resulting resonance DAF 18. It also evident increase expected occur relatively lower speed.

Effects of track characteristics on dynamic responses of train-bridge systems
High speed trains are an indispensable part of rapid transportation systems in many countries. As the fastest means of transport on the ground, these trains are extremely sensitive to the terrain and track conditions. Geometrical irregularities and mechanical characteristics of the track, together with inconsistencies in the lane (including bridges that support the track) are considered importa...
متن کاملDetailed design of the main bridge – viaduct spans in Padma Multipurpose Bridge project, Bangladesh
The Padma Multipurpose Bridge Design Project comprises a new fixed crossing of the Padma River in Bangladesh, which will consist of a new main bridge approximately 6.15km long with spans crossing the Padma River. Viaduct spans on both sides of the Padma River support both the highway and railway traffic and lead this traffic onto the upper and lower levels of the main bridge. The length of the ...

متن کاملDynamic Behavior Analysis of a Geometrically Nonlinear Plate Subjected to a Moving Load
In this paper, the nonlinear dynamical behavior of an isotropic rectangular plate, simply supported on all edges under influence of a moving mass and as well as an equivalent concentrated force is studied. The governing nonlinear coupled PDEs of motion are derived by energy method using Hamilton’s principle based on the large deflection theory in conjuncture with the von-Karman strain-displacem...
